Alan and Jacqui Poole established A & J Tax Management Services in 2001. Both Alan and Jacqui worked in the personal taxation department of the Royal Bank of Scotland, where Alan was the department manager for the south of England. When the Royal Bank of Scotland relocated its Taxation department in 2001 Alan and Jacqui were approached by a number of loyal customers to continue to deal with their tax affairs on a personal basis. The demand for our services was so overwhelming that we established A & J Tax Management Services. Alan now has in excess of 40 years experience in the area of personal and trust taxation and Jacqui has in excess of 20 years experience. We have built up a reputation for outstanding customer service, expert advice and efficient service for very competitive rates.

We also work for many firms of solicitors as well as individuals.

We offer efficient friendly advice at an affordable price and provide an initial estimate of fees in advance, so there are no nasty surprises. We will request your personal tax information in April each year and, providing that you supply us with your income details within a reasonable time, we guarantee to meet HMRC’s strict submission deadlines.

Alan Poole is registered as a practising tax advisor with the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and as a practising accountant with the Certified Public Accountants Association (CPAA), adhering at all times to their ethical guidelines. As a member of both, he is required to attend their regular lectures and seminars to keep his knowledge up to date.
